EcoPlus: (ECPL:PK)

I mention this to all my friends and family so I might as well mention it to readers of this blog. About 6 months ago, I was introduced to a company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I visited the company and was quite impressed. Here's a link to some information about the company. The stock symbol is ECPL and it trades on the Pink Sheets.

Let me state unequivocally that one of our affiliates owns almost 600,000 shares of this company's stock which they have accumulated in the open market.

This small company has the ability to convert brown grease into a fuel or fertilizer. You may ask, what's the big deal.

Brown grease is doing to cities' pipelines what cholesterol can do to the human body. It clogs the pipelines and over time, can make the pipelines almost unusable. For years, haulers have taken the easy grease from the grease traps in restaurants and left the thick stuff, simply referred to as brown grease. Over the years, this stuff has clogged pipelines and is now becoming a major issue throughout many areas of the country. The junk is now overflowing and can seep into waterways, wells etc. Many cities and municipalities do not have a solution.

I believe this company has the solution. Most importantly, there is a plant in Charlotte North Carolina that now uses the technology. Potentially, this company's solution can be implemented within 3-6 months and most importantly, the technology actually produces a useful byproduct.

Here's the negative. The stock is not easy to accumulate but that's probably a good thing.

The positive is that the company is run by mature businessmen that truly have an interest in building a real company.
