Stock Promotions and Exploding Stocks

I just reset my filters on my spam control for the word "EXPLODE" I added "Gonna Explode" also because it just seems that every 5th email I get these days is about a stock that is going to explode. The word explode really scares me. Is their headquarters going to explode or the CEO's head possibly. AHHHHH, I get it, the stock price. Really scary stuff starting to go on out there in stockland. I am the CEO of a New York-based investor relations firm and to be really honest, I don't use the word explode associated with stocks. In fact, the last time I used the word explode is when my wife kept the corn muffins in the oven too long. Yes, they did explode!!! All these guys with these exploding stocks never leave any contact information. In fact, if I had a stock that was about to explode, I'd leave my number, social security number and cell phone number. Geeeeeeez, I'd be proud to tell you more about these exploding stocks.

The problem is that you can't do anything about it. You can't reply to the email and all the domains are on a bogus server located on a rubber raft in the Caribbean. So the next time you receive an email that tells you about an exploding stock, reset your spam filters.
